Dear tea lovers,
Welcome to my new blog!
When could be a better time to start a blog than Spring? The season of renewing and blooming!
Spring is my favorite season. It always feels like spring is the reward for surviving the cold winter. And the flowers, oh, the flowers. Besides beautiful scenery and the beautiful scents that spring brings with it, it resembles spiritually as well as physically renewal.
As part of nature, we move in life (mostly subconsciously) according to the seasons. During the winter, our body is working hard on keeping itself warm, and our energetic state is closed and tucked. When spring comes, after a long cold winter, our natural physical and spiritual tendency are to open up and bloom. Spring creates a space to look within. What can help me blooming this year? How can I feel better, happier, lighter, healthier? What do I need to do to grow and bloom?

According to Chinese medicine, Spring is the season of the element Wood, which is one of the five elements based on Chinese medicine and philosophy (fire, metal, earth and water).
It is also the season of the green color and the season of the liver. Our liver is one of the most important organs in our body and certainly the biggest. It is in charge of the smooth flow of blood and energy (Qi) in our body.
This makes spring the perfect time for a little dusting, but not the vacuum cleaner kind, the kind that brings the real inner smile out. Cleansing our body is very important for its easy energizing function.
Our body and mind are unconditionally connected and depended on each other. If we are happy, sad, angry, relaxed, our body reacts to it, so when we clean our body we actually are cleaning our mind as well, and when our body feels good our mind is happy (and vice versa, of course!).
Cleansing our body can be simply choosing the right food and energy to bring in (a small adjustment in our diet can make a change). Small changes like eating more fresh vegetables and fruits or avoiding white sugar and white flour or leaving the dairy to the cows and the goats, these are all changes your body will appreciate and be happy with.
Last but not least, spring blooms creates natural tendency to clean the space around us and refresh our homes. This is a great time to open the windows! Time for a deep tissue house cleaning, letting go of old stuff, donating unnecessary clothes, bringing in plants and flowers, and purifying your space with incense or sage.

This is the time to refresh your life (the life around you and the life within you).
Spring is the season of love, you can ask any animal around, they all know it! And what is more spiritual than love?!
Now, what all this got to do with tea? In our next blog, we will reveal some teas that will assist our bodies with our spring cleansing.
Well, my friends, Enjoy the Season, Drink Tea and Celebrate Life!
Organically yours,
